Stop spam calls

Called from what sounded like a wind tunnel to talk about life style.

Some guy for a survey, Claims to call from the Netherlands but the number in London. The guy is nice and just want some research on your lifestyle. I didn't take the survey, It takes time but seems legitimate

Rang pretending to be from BT about a problem with internet connection and when I told him to ring back when my husband was in he hung up. Rang back 5 minutes later supposed to be doing a survey on smoking habits and wanted my date of birth. Gave him a load of rubbish.

Company called saying that they were doing market research for Kantar. The caller was very polite and when I asked him where he got my no from (I'm on the telephone preferences database) he said that the no's were computer generated. All telephone numbers to be called for market research, As I understand, Are meant to be cross referenced with the telephone preferences database and those no's meant to be removed - something this company is not doing.

Did not answer as number not known to me and I don't give out the number widely. I have blocked them based on reading what others have said

They mumbled the name of their company, Saying it was market research. I said I'd never heard of them, Hung up and blocked the number :-)

It rang me 3 times today and just cut off when I answered

Bloody annoying 27 calls in 1 week. No answer when picked up.. Now I just let it ring off. It’s my landline number they’re ringing an I’m ex directory.. Fuming

Called me twice today, But I never answers it as I didn't recognise the number.

For goodness sake. Your mobile phone shows the number that is calling. Don't answer if you don't recognise it. As the meercat says ---simples

Said they were "GDCC", But I said no, So I've no idea if they were genuine market research or scammers (so rated in between)

Claimed to be calling from a government department for international trade. Sounded like a third party call centre, Which seems to be in line with the other reports.

Asked for my to answer a questionnaire regarding brand awareness of mobile phones. Not interested sorry, A waste of my time.

They rang 8 Jan doing a routine survey on behalf of Leeds BS which we had visited last week. Local branch confirmed this number might call on their behalf, So it is sort of legitimate though a pain!

Claimed to be calling on behalf of Leeds Building Society @ 5:40 pm. I very much doubt it & just left them hanging on!!

Coincidence or what! Unknown caller Rang my mobile no. And asked by name for my son. Simply said wrong no. Caller Apologised and rang off. Spoke to son who said it has happened to him. They ring his mobile asking to speak to another by name, Who are his friends. Odd.

Called me a few times today but rang of before I had time to answer, From the information given here on 180info I have decided to block the number.

Called supposedly from GVCC - wanted a name of buyer for coffee when told its email only she said she wasnt selling coffee products just a Coffe survey but still needed a name ( :D ) i told her i have never heard of a coffee survey & we politely decline to take part! Nice try

Coffee consumption survey, Harmless no scam, Just your time...

I had one from this number purporting to be from a company conducting a survey on consumption of coffee in the UK... Yeah right! I put them on hold, Then blind-transferred the call to the same number it called from, So hopefully they enjoyed talking to themselves!

Keeps calling, When phone is picked up, No one speaks and phone disconnects. Very annoying as our number is ex-directory and belongs to 88 year old.

Claimed he was from national television services or something like that, Then asked me if I was driving, Then went on about a survey he wanted me to fill. I told him that I needed to put him on hold. But then I hung up and blocked his number???? It was hilarious.

It was so funny

Every day they call and when you pick the phone up no one answers. Very annoying as they ring 4 to 5 times a day Even on sundays!

Had calls prior from no. They hung up when I spoke. 26/5/18 calls at 1. 12pm, 3. 32pm hung up when I said hello 4. 43pm I said nothing eventually female spoke hello? Then she was from news org collecting answers about issues that effect world. I asked which no. She calling from she non-plussed started to repeat script I asked again phone no. She claimed she did not know it! I said not interested and hung up.

Called twice today, Answered the second time, Somebody on the line who was having a conversation in the background, Then the line went dead!

No meassage left - can't be important, Then.

Always hang up once you answer

No answer but could hear breathing on end of line

Calls and then immediately hangs up when answered - very frustrating. 3rd call today!
