For Christ sake just answer this phone and apparently I wasn’t really aware what he was saying at the beginning and asked for my detail for data protection something about my cancellation of d/d of insurance of the laptop I bought from Argos, And he wouldn’t continue if I asked what is the call about, I must dumb to think that it might be real because for a second I did thought it was a scam, Then the way the man speak was really rude and ffs I only remembered I cancelled my d/d before and noth
Calling 2-3 times a day, I have blocked them and never answer but its a pain to keep seeing they have tried yet again.... You XXXXX...... Go and make your money honestly
Constantly calling even though I do my D&G insurance online. Seems like spammers are trying to pose as official D&G and ask for bank details. They don't leave a voicemail and when they do it's silent for 5-10 seconds.
Called claiming it was Domestic & General regarding cover for a TV I was supposed to have bought from Argos.
Went coy when I asked for details of the purchase and hid behind ‘security’ request.
Call ended fairly abruptly when I indicated no details would be given to a cold caller.
Phoned my number, I answered and it was silent.. Fair enough i was in the middle of something and answered "HELLO!" like i wanted to take the person on the phones head off.. But still.. Lol i find most London numbers calling me are scammers..
Had a call from this number said domestic and general and procedded to ask abou r kitchen appliance. Told foreign accent caller i did not conduct my business on the phone and put phone. I do have D and G but this is obviously a scam when started to asked to confirm details.
Just had this number called - I ignored it - I do have D&G stuff but I set it up when I am ready to - Our cooker is insured under warranty until December -
Two calls today - Domestic & General
First caller, Female, Wanted to speak about my oven? Told her to take me of her database and I hung up.
Second caller could not tell me the name of the person he was calling so I told him to ring off.
This is a SCAM. Most domestic appliance insurances are D&G. These scammers get lucky, More often than not. They got lucky with me, Initially, Until they asked me to confirm my bank account direct debit details. You already have that on file, Don’t you? Yes, But... Please tell us again. Yeah, Right! Go XXXX yourselves!
Called today they had way too much info about me claiming to be Domestic and General I feel sick and silly that I confirmed my name and address I didn't feel comfortable after a while so I said now I not a good time and to call back in an hour
Caller said they were Domestic & General calling about my dishwasher repair. When I said it was being done that morning hung up on me! Did not recognised the number as D & G so not really sure who this was.
I’ve been getting calls from these wankers for over a year now and they will not remove my info from their system, I work in a call center and I know that they are breaking all compliance’s of GDPR which is doing my XXXXX head in
Really predatory sales call, Said they were domestic & general, But the thing is I cancelled the cover my OAP father had been persuaded into and this call today was them calling up to ask him to renew it, Obviously hoping they can get him on his own and have him start paying again, Disgusting practices.
4 missed calls and I answered the 5th on my mobile, Claimed be domestic & general and mentioned my freezer registration which I hd purchased a few days ago, She did not say much else whilst I gave her verbals, Whether genuine or false company AO are the only company that had my mobile number so therefor they must be passing on the information to this company which is against the Data protection act so I will be following this up with both AO and the necessary authorities.
Rang me up in regards to a "hotpoint" appliance I had purchased.. Wanted me to confirm my name and details which I refused to, Therefore they refused to tell me what they wanted. Suspect either fishing for details or wanting to sell extra insurance!!
Called several times. First time I missed it and called back, But got a message that did not identify the caller. After that got called several times and no one spoke when I answered, So have now blocked this number.
This number keeps calling even though my husband told the irate man that he knew it was a scam. Claim to be from Domestic and General, So when a man called again today, I told him that Domestic and General normally contact us by post so I don’t think you are who you say you are and I hung up.
Ring 2-4 times a day. Even at 8. 30 in the evening. I never answer numbers I dont know. Never leave a message. So annoying now as they ring every day 2 to 4 times. If I dont answer it's because I dont want these calls.
Everyday I get a silent voicemail. I have blocked the number, But it still goes through to my voicemail. This is seriously annoying me. I am logging daily complaints to Ofcom
Phones up asking about something most people might have e. G. Washing machine insurance or something. Said it was Domestic & General when it plainly wasn't. Asked for personal details which I did not give. Can't believe this phishing is allowed to go on by the authorities when so many people have reported it.
Said she was from legal and general about my cooker. asked my name I said why are you ringing for data protection I can't tell you. so I said me either bye
