Call from some guy who said he was from from Amazon, asked how I was, I replied 'What do you want '?, I half expected him to hang up, but he said again he was from Amazon, he didn't get a chance to say aything else as I told him to get a good job, good bye then I hung up.

A foreign lady phoned today January 12, 2002. Claimed someone tried to buy a £700+ phone on Amazon. I cut in saying, anyone doing that would be found by us within a few days and regret it. They hung up.

Had the same thing. The guy said my Amazon account was hacked last night with no one specific (phishing) and I said no which caused him to cut the line. Definitely a scammer! Beware. Amazon will never call you if you have a breach.
