Claimed to be google search, Wanted verification of buisiness details.

Claims to be from Google regarding local business registration. Very pushy. Asked me to verify business details and promised to send a "program that you must install to maintain your Google Business page" - I played along out of curiosity. Suspect I'm about to be emailed a crypto locker virus :-) FYI - This is NOT how Google contacts you.

Calling from various numbers but always the same when I answer the phone I get an automated message that says something like : "this message is from a company that has something to do with your business" I've tried calling the number back but they never answer

Someone seeming to me to pretend to be Google verification for my business page - but my business pages is already verified! When I explained that and ended the call, They tried to ring me twice more but I didn't answer.

Rings, But hung up when answered

Called claiming to be from Google and stating that I had not completed registration on my business website. Offered to do it there and then ("it will take no more than two minutes of your time"). Lacked authenticity so hung up.

Caller asked me about an old business and wanted me to give her access to my Google account. She was quite persistent in getting access. I had to just hang up after
