Says they are Windows Support. Asked for their registered company name, Address & VAT number & he said he doesn't have a website - lol!!! Kept him busy for 15 minutes & he said he would be calling me back 20/30 times every day - number blocked!!!
Called me today (july 18th 2019) SAID 2B from Vindows, Oh sorry WINdows Tech Support. I just chuckled down the phone, Rested it on the side, And got on with my stuff, Till the muppet hung-up, Well, It works fer me.
Receiving numerous calls on a daily basis throughout the weeks. Very persistent. Needs to STOP.
I let in ring out and the caller hangs up.
A complete nuisance.
I've tried ringing the number back but unavailable
Fake windows caller asking me to go to my computer as they needed to sort out virus on it. I pretended to be at pc. Caller wanted me to log on I asked them why they wanted me to! Caller trying to insist I did so I told them am I wasting your time as I'm not understanding 🤣. Caller them carried on trying to get me on to pc penny finally dropped and he hung up. Scam Microsoft team saying i had fault on my computer
let them talk me through a lot of XXXXX had no computer on
but they where sure i had a fault
not bad to wast half hour of their time and office had a laugh as i had them on speaker
Caller told me his name was Sam Jones, Very unlikely with his not very (understatement) good English accent. Asked about my computer and said he was from microsoft. When I said what computer, He asked what was the computer at this address. I said if your from microsoft, You must know, At which point he put the phone down
Fake Windows scam call phoned me twice to tell me that my windows pc was infected. I lied and said all I have is a Android tablet. I asked what was the problem and apparently antivirus wouldn't detect it. So in other words they want people to download a program that grants them remote access to people's pcs so they can search your files for bank account details and other files that they can use against you.. Do not give any of your details away to them.
Windows PC scam - cut me off when I kept saying i wasn't sure I believed them and that they could contact me in an alternative way if they were Microsoft and if they weren't then they are the sun of the Earth!!
Had a call from this number, Asian sounding person telling me my computer was returning error codes, I told him he was talking crap and that this was a scam and he instantly hung up on me, Number now blocked.
They are fraudulent / scamming callers trying to access my computer saying “there were errors when I was online”
Be Careful and don’t give anyone cold calling access to your computer.
