My landline number isn't linked to my amazon, only my mobile number is, 2nd time now with same voice quoting an address that is nowhere near me, definately a scam call...

Called but rung off the moment I picked up. When I returned the call no one picked up - just some dodgy sounding we tried to call you about a delivery.

I ignored this number, but simultaneously received a message from a mobile number about a genuine amazon delivery, and cannot access building. I replied to message with 'leave xxxxxx', which received a prompt reply and confirmation of delivery. Not sure why call came up as 020 etc, but seems legit in my instance. Perhaps its just a way of the driver attracting attention promptly to allow him best chance of dropping off your parcel..

Wednesday, March 11th 2020 @ 19:49 - I had a missed call from this number whilst I was on my mobile. I didn't recognise the number and don't know anyone in London with a landline, So I checked online. It's definitely NOT an Amazon courier because I haven't ordered anything from Amazon! All the so-called claims that this is a legitimate Amazon number could be from people working the scam or naive people convinced it's legit or a coincidental situation whereby people are awaiting a genuine Amazo

AVOID*** The is a fake number, I contacted amazon costumer service by site and they confirm this number is not from amazon. Pls avoid tell information to this caller. Even you are waiting for a delivery, Look before at gps location from the driver.

About delivery- safe place when not at home call.

They often text to let you know your package has arrived. Or to confirm leaving it outside. This just happened to me as I was walking down the street and delivery driver was getting no answer. It doesn't matter where you live in the UK as the processing center is often thru London. I live in Scotland and this just happened. With the holidays approaching and theft of packages it's a security measure.

Don’t see why an Amazon number in London would be calling about my delivery when I live in north Devon!!!

I wasnt at home and he rang to ask if leaving in the porch was OK..... This is not a scam caller.
