Stop spam calls

Scammer purporting to renew washing machine insurance. A lie with the aim of obtaining bank details.

Answer and they hang up hoping you will ring back and they charge you a fortune for the privilage. Police informed

Tried to tell me I had insurance on a 15 year old washing machine. Had my house number and postcode

Been called 3 times in last week. Ask for me and hang up when my wife answers.

Caller said he was from D &G and they were reducing my DD for insurance on appliances, Asked for my sort code at this point told him I didnt have it and would phone them back.. The offer was for today only!! LOl.. BIG scammer

I think this is a bank scam to get your details, Beware!

Hung up when I picked up phone

Tried to tell me that I had insurance with them for my washing machine, Knew my full name, Address and mobile number. Asked them what make my machine was and he said he didn’t know as wasn’t a technician! Told them my machine is covered by British Gas Homecare, And he hung up. Worrying that they knew so much. Definitely a scam

Claimed to be the company who cover my washing machine (and other appliances) and do I want to continue cover as they are reducing the price (yeah right!). Immediately suspicious, Made worse when he gave me very sketchy details about the cover I actually have and finally asked for for my bank details to set up a new direct debit. Said he would cancel my policy if I didn't want to give them to him. I just laughed at him and hung up at that point

We are the company that provides cover for your washing machine, English accent we don’t have a washing machine as we live in a complex for the unwashing machine owners club...... Lol on my effing mobile too

They tell me i have maintenance up keep cost to keep going, Then i tell them i only rent the property and they hang up immediately. Definitely a scam

Just keep calling soon as I answer hangs up - I dont return calls so you make no money from me
