Claim to be from BT can’t find out if it’s true???

SAID THEY WAS BT AND WAS GIVEING ME A UPGRADE AT NO EXTRA COST TO ME; WHEN I ASK IF HE WAS BT HE SAID YES I DID NOT LIKE THE SOUND OF HIM I WAS ASKING HIM A BIT MORE ABOUT IT AND HE HANG UP ON ME

"BT" calling to upgrade my broadband. As I refused to confirm my address she became a little sarcastic. She offered to email me a PIN that would confirm they are BT! She then decided to text it but I don't get reception, She asked which mobile network I was with and shrugged off the BT response so read out my email address-only it wasnt mine! (Potentially it had been linked to the previous owners). She then hung up!

Called today and rang off before I could answer, They then never ended the call and our number was then registering as engaged for almost 5 hours. Totally out of order as I could have needed to use my phone for an emergency. Hope it logged on their bill!!

They say they are from BT and want to talk about and issue with your computer. Followed the instruction, Knowing it was a scam, To the point where they wanted to take over the computer. At that point, Stopped the call. As others have said BEWARE. Someone needs to do something to stop these scammers being able to continually phone.

According to a BT website (s. Btpartners,) this is one of their partners and they are basically touting for business on the behalf of BT. The details of the company is as below and this states the number on which they will call you - this one. If they continue to pester I suggest you report to BT. Why did BT give them my mother's details, If we are dealing with BT direct will call them direct

Totally browned off by these calls threatening that our security breached & we have to give IP address & change over.!! Whilst i am looking up the number, A malicious site has tried to invade, Despite us having all top of the scale security. Why can trading standards & telecoms moderators get these operations closed down

Scammers lying to my elderly parents!! Bit of a theme it seems....

They keep calling my elderly parents at one point they said they are going to disconnect their BT unless they pay an outstanding bill of £150, They are not with BT they are with another company for internet and telephone. It's about time BT stop selling business lines to just anyone

Said they were from BT which they clearly were not. How did they get my name and number? Suspect sold by BT which I am investigating and if so, Will cancel my BT contract.

This is weird one, Recording says as letter not delivered or signed for a warrant for arrest has been issued, Press 1 to resolve this matter.

Said from BT and that we could get a better deal on our Broadband. He said call was being recorded for our security ( laughable!) and tried to get my Partner to sign up for a better deal than he would get on website. My Partner said he would prefer to browse on website rather than be pressurised into a deal on phone. He said he was suprised BT dod business in this way.... Which of course BT doesn't.... This is a SCAM!

Its a company called Resq working on behalf of BT go to BT. Com/partners.

Rang saying from BT, Obviously not as no idea who the account holder was. Wanted me to give address, Wasn't going to happen, Then caller put phone down. Blocked

Repeated calls.. Leave to answer phone.. Always rings off!

This Afternoon at 3. 45pm polite gentlemen said he was from BT, Didn't hear what he was about to say, I just said BT don't call customers and hung up.

Cold call. Rang off after answer machine cut in.? Scam.

Cold calling, Something fraudulent as never given this number and the have the wrong name. This is one of many from several numbers using this wrong name. I block them all but they keep coming on new numbers...

Keeps calling but hangs up after 3 rings
