Automated call claiming to be inland revenue officer Clare somebody. Shocking attempt at a scam.

Had a call this afternoon pretending to be HM customs, Complete scam using automated American voice. Complete rubbish

Scam call ignore do not ring the number

Called claiming to be HM Revenue. Requested an immediate call back or suffer the consequences - followed by 'take care' LOL!! Blocked....

Said I had a time critical issue with HMRC and needed to call back. The female american voice gave it away

SCAM, AUTOMATED MESSAGE with female american voice, Don't worry about it, Just do as I did and ignore/block.

Total scam just asked to speak to Claire and then told not available.. Asked what office and they hung up..

This is a scam, Block these people.

Scam call allegedly from HMRC, Just block

Is a scam they are calling on behalf of HMRC. Be careful

Automated call which claimed to be HMRC that I or my solicitor (even though I don’t have one) needed to get in contact as it was time critical. It also said if I did not get in touch then I would face legal charges. This IS a scam. A parent who actually works at HMRC rang back number and guy claimed to work at HMRC in westminister but when questioned about what office he worked in the guy hung up the phone. In background it sounded like a call centre.
