From EE website: This number belongs to EE's partner Inspired. They're often able to beat EE's official pricing about additional products and services and offer deals. Https://ee. Co. Uk/help/help-new/offers-and-services/other/phone-calls-from-our-partners
Received a call from a north east sounding chap, tried to get us to sign for ee home fibre broadband, but as soon as we said not interested he was pleasant enough and wished us a good day and rung off.
No issues at all.
As someone said, the number is on the official EE website;
https://ee. Co. Uk/help/help-new/offers-and-services/other/phone-calls-from-our-partners
But didn’t pick the phone myself, so don’t know the actual reason yet though…

It’s EE partners who seem to follow up every time you contact EE.
In this case it was helpful as they have got me a better deal than the one I got directly from EE the previous day.
They cancelled the previous contract and didn’t ask for any payment details to set up the new deal.
Rang three times today. Other people say its to offer you an upgrade with EE. I literally upgraded with them yesterday. If this is them they have a weird sales technique!
Weird how all the comments say EE I literally joined EE and got my new phone today and getting these calls and even weirder is they are calling on my bt phone number that i'm waiting to be transferred.... Must be a scam because if they were actually from EE they would know i've just joined so I wouldn't be due an upgrade on a phone i've had for 3 hours lol
I also just got a call from this number, ignored it and am glad I checked on here as I will now block. I am also on EE so assume it would have been a similar call to the below if I had picked up.
Called offering me info on upgrades etc. Told him i dont need anything from EE and hung up
He then proceeded to call me back 3 times asking why i hung up
This number is on EE website they say they are a partner however didnt want to go any further due to giving out details. Prefer just to call EE and talk offer direct to them.

I spoke to this guy honestly for about 20 minutes - feel so XXXXX now as I gave him my first and second characters. There was a couple of things he said that made me a little wary and it wasn't until after the call that I put it all together to be honest - he was so nice and chatty - anyway, I said I needed to think about the EE tablet deals that he'd offered me and to call back another day so... He's now blocked. Sorry dude.
Was weird as on my phone screen came up as suspected spam. Claimed to be from EE wanting to save me money and all that. I said could be a scam as it says so on my phone. Then said he will send me a text to confirm it was them. Although I was very unprofessional and although it did say 'EE' as the sender at the top of the message I refused to go further with the call
Received a silent call earlier in the day. Called later, Claimed to be from EE. Asked for my personal details which i refused unless he could prove his identity. Asked for the amount of my last bill which he could not provide. Sent a text proclaiming to be from EE but it could easily be spoofed, And the message itself is very unprofessionally worded. Very very sus.
Called today but I did not answer as I didn't recognise the number and do not I know anyone living in that area of the UK. If it was important or legit then surely they would leave me a message. Now blocked..
Called regarding my account, Said they had great deals available. Perfectly friendly, Sounds legitimate but it isn't
Do not tell them what phone model you have, That's a security question that EE would ask if you don't have a password on your account.
I called up EE through the app straight after the call and they've advised it's not a legitimate call. I've given them the number and they've added extra security to my account.
This is actually an approved EE partner so not a scam. You can speak EE if you'd rather not be contacted by them but they are genuine.

Tried to tell my SIM card was expired and I needed to renew my contract. I said I was at work and would just pop into the EE store. They said I wouldn’t get those deals in store. So I said fine I’ll go with a different company and hung up.
Been with EE for 7 years and never had “EE” call me before to upgrade. Same as everyone is saying, Nice guy on the phone, Pushy to go ahead without even agreeing. “Deal” wouldn’t be available if I was to call back.. Very strange.
Claimed to be from EE, With offers for me, Wanted password. I declined. Tried to push saying there was an upgrade offer but I upgraded my phone in the last 3 months so it sounded fishy
Claimed to be EE offering free stuff, But I had to confirm my personal details before he could continue. Said I wasn't giving details out to an unsolicited call, And he said he could send me a text message to prove it was EE (which could easily be spoofed to look like an official text). I said I would call back on an official EE number from my bill - he said 'you'll have to ring back on this number', Which is clearly rubbish. Clearly a scam.
Real EE sales person called me from this number offering a great deal on an upgrade received confirmation texts from my usual EE text conversation after and my new phone already arrived they didn't ask anything that they shouldnt and had enough information to proove it was them such as billing address and dates
Claimed to be from EE offering fantastic offers but before they could reveal them, They wanted my full name and details regards my EE account that EE would know. Seemed like a phishing scam to me so declined to answer. After hanging up checked my EE account online and no new offers listed.
Potential scam. Could have also been marketing. Told me I was missing out on bonuses with EE then requested the first and last letter of my security password. When I told them I couldn't remember and needed time to check (I was searching their number up online), They hung up, After about 30 seconds of silence.
