Claiming owed £4000 in unpaid tax & being taken to court & even prison.

This one came out of the blue. Total scam call similar to the US IRS scams. Might dig a bit further and see who it really is.

Claims to be HMRC - ignore

Scam. I thanked them for wasting their time, And I didnt appreciate their threatening tone of 'get ready to face the legal consequences if we do not do what they want'. Bara Scotland is the alledged location.

Recorded message from Officer Claire xxxxxxxx of HMRC threatening legal action if I do not reply. Reported to TPS and HMRC

Is it coincidence that I have just paid my tax bill today and I have received this message. Where do they get your number from?

Call recd 5/2/19 - Dodgy automatic message claiming to be from HMRC and threatening legal consequences. Will not reply. If concerned check HMRC website or call their real helpline numbers.

Officer Clare Williams from hmrc, Instructs you to call this telephone number back, If you don't or they don't hear from you then be prepared to face legal consequences. Quite spooky to hear at 5 AM!!!!!!!!!!
