Somebody just shouted ‘YAHOO’ and then hung up

O2 aggressive sales tactic called twice in 2 hours

Says they are O2 mobile provider. Not them as they would never use a residential number.

They had my first and last name from a McDonalds login. Asked if I was over 20 then hung up. Scammers!

A few months ago I went into McDonald's and used there wifi. Now my phone wont stop ringing from 02 trying to sell me phones... A massive breach In DPA

Phone marked it as a suspected scam call but when I answered there was no reply, Before they hung up after 15 seconds..

Said they were from O2. Had already looked up the number so was looking forward to them calling back. The african call operator was reluctant to answer my questions about what colour underwear she was wearing and as to whether she was more of a thong or a granny knickers kind of girl but she had a good old giggle regardless. Enjoyable call but I don't think I'll hear from them again.

Calling over and over. Phone flagging as spam. I haven't answered.

Says from O2. Requested to have number removed and was called again. Is a scam.

Indian guy who knew my name called saying he worked with a telecom company.

SALES CALL NOT SCAM Called me 2 days ago I asked for them to call back after 3 month as I will be ready for a contract then they then rang me today! Will not answer to pushy sales people

Claimed to be from O2. Wanted to discuss my data usage, To make sure I'm on their best deal. I'm not on O2

They said they was from 02 wanted my bank details I hung up he was going to put me through to someone else to give my bank details to

Just had call from these wont call again after the abuse they got back soon said there a scam and i know 02 not aware of this company and 02 diesnt have any subcontractors soon i said that they got angry indian woman was on the phone

Apparently said because I connected to o2 wifi they had my details and spoke about offers i asked to remove my details and blocked the number. I havent ever been or o2 or used their wifi at all recently!

They new my name before they even said hello and wanted to talk about an o2 account I don't have, Definitely a scam

Claimed to be from O2. Knew my name. Wanted to know about my phone useage.

The person knew my name and later asked what phone provider I am with. I went to McDonalds the other day and have read some comments so think that is probably how they found out my name. Also after they asked what provider I was with I wasn’t sure what to say so said nothing and eventually they hung up.

Repeated nuisance caller. Tried to sell some sort of services from O2, And claimed they got my number from a wi-fi hotspot. I certainly didn't knowingly consent to any such calls.

Called them back after missed call Said they were from O2 amd when I asked how they got my number they said it was from. When I logged in to an O2 hotspot. They even told me the date an the name of the pub that had the hotspot. In this case it was a pub from the chain Stonehouse.

O2 calling apparently, Not with network were also asking for someone with a different name

These calls started within an hour of giving PC World my phone number, Nobody else has the number. So much for only using it to contact me about my delivery. They obviously sold it on.

Me too - they knew my name (even though i am not on the network) Seems a scam they said they got my name from Mcdonalds wifi?

Guy in a call centre, Claimed to be from O2 with some fantastic offers for me. Not interested.
