Have contacted 02 on the official 02 customer service number and they confirmed 0161 519 9306 is the 02 sales team. O2 telemarketing

Scam pretendin to be 02 just after your details

Claimed to be from O2. Wanted me to provide my home address to verify who I am. When I said I would not provide it she said she will send me a text verifying her status and then I would know it is O2 and can give her my address to confirm my identity. Said no - have now blocked the number

I missed a call tonight. I have all marketing options disabled on my O2 account so I'm not sure if it's O2 who called me or some scam?

Said he was from 02 wanting to check I was on the right tarif, When I said I know I am he said he wasn't asking me to change anything he wanted to make sure I wasn't being over charged for international calls or picture messages. I said I wasn't as I don't send them or go out of the country. Blocked
