I'm with economy energy and I'm expecting them to ask for a reading, So it sounds genuine to me.

Said he was calling from Economy Energy and wanted meter readings. Advised I had just supplied them. He advised they are taken over the phone. I said I would email them and he hung up - SCAM

She said she was from my energy company and required my meter readings. Would not give me any proof of who she was and quoted Data Protection rules for not being able to supply information. Sent her on her way. Checked with my supplier who confirmed it was not them. Further call today which I missed. Rang the number back and voice message stated it was a reminder for a conference call and to press 1 to delete my number. Scammer

Says he’s economy energy Bu sounds like a scammer cause he cannot answer any questions

Pretended to be from my energy supplier - wanted a meter reading over the phone, But I’d submitted one online a couple of weeks ago. When I told him I wasn’t at home and would submit them again online, He became very rude so I gave him a mouthful and hung up.

Called for a meter reading... Checked with my supplier it wasn't them, Suspect scammer or another energy supplier poaching customers by getting a meter reading then taking over the account

Nuisance call. I heard some music and a voice and they then hung up after 6 seconds.

Caller pretended to be from my energy provider.
