Scam claiming to be from BT. Called twice, First time hung up upon answering phone and woman with asian accent second time. Hung up again when I said I couldn't hear her very well.

Scammers, Claiming to be from BT

Scam. Pretends to be BT wanting access to "your computer" (don't give them any information!). They panicked and hung up when they realised they called a business line. It also makes automated silent calls (i. E. Dials more random numbers than it has staff to speak to if they pick up)

Claiming to be BT I said “oh really “hung up. Rang again claiming to be B. T, Listened to him ramble on and I asked what my IP address was then? He said “Mam, Dat is a secret “ I shouted lol down the phone and the phone went dead 😭🤣

Indian telesales guy. Says from bt. Suspicious. He said I should be aware of people using my internet outside of my house area?? Hung up when I said I do not have a pc or laptop.

Had these ring 3 times today, A female claiming 6 people were using my internet and she was from BT could I go to my internet or computer and they would talk me through what to do. Also just had them ring again at 14. 18 pm a poor Asian Accent claiming to be from BT by the name of Peter Parker. Good old Spider-Man hung up now reported to action fraud...

She said she was from BT, I replied oh yes and then she hung up.

I pretend to be doing what they ask on the computer and when they ask what has come up on screen I tell them " I have a message on screen telling that I am about to be scammed and telling them where to go"

Alluding to be from bt, Hung up when quizzed

Scam. Said she was from BT and knew people were accessing my internet and using it and my IP address. I said so I suppose I ought to be in front of my computer then so you can guide me. Yes Mam, She said, We will help you. I told her "If you spoke clear English you would know we Brits this a scam or rip off. Or much ruder words if she wanted to listen". She couldn't have wanted to hear them as she hung up.

When asked what was call for, They hung up.

Telephone scam pretending to be from BT. Male voice with strong Asian accent (“Peter!”). Stated 200+ people had accessed my internet from outside, And that I needed to sit in front of a computer or laptop for them to ‘help me sort it out’. On being challenged he stated he was from BT, To which I responded “you are not”. On this he threatened to shut the internet connection down. On being told “try it then” the phone went ‘dead’. This is a scam - DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Called this morning had one hell of a job to understand him, It had scammer written all over it. HUNG UP

Telephone scam pretending to be BT. Tell them they've called Government line (which they had) they panic and hang up.

Calling from BT, I said I wasn't with BT and asked her to tell me our provider, She couldn't then hung up.
