They wanted to know details of my bank card... They knew when it expired.. I told them they should know which bank it was if thy knew when it expired. They closed the call.
An Asian chap called William calling, Knew my name address and postcode and ironically asked me if I receive nuisance or marketing phone calls and offered me to upgrade 'the service' when I asked what the catch was he bid me farewell and hung up. At least he was polite! SCAM!
Received call today, Saying he was from telephone preference sevice and requested the details of my bank card. I refused to give them but to an older more vulnerable person they sound convincing and they will give them. Something needs doing about people like these.
Same as below stating that a credit card that I had on file was going to expire and wanted new one - after much fun with random numbers I told him it was illegal he then hung up

Called me today and hung up when I answered without a word being said their end. I rung the number back and had the message *the other number has hung up"
Indian man rang saying he was from a telephone management centre and that as from tomorrow I would not receive any more nuisance calls. He wanted to confirm my name and address but then asked me to confirm my direct debits so I ended the call.
Was saying they were calling from o2 and wanted to confirm my address. They new my card was expiring soon and wanted they new number for my pay monthly account... I stalled asking questions to the woman who called.. She got aggressive. Once she new I was suspicious, They hung up
