Robotic male voice on a slightly different number always. Says may ring again but press 1 to cancel!

Said he was 'local' energy advisor - over 200 miles away?!? Obviously didn't know who I was when phoning. I just hung up.

Didn't recognise number so pressed block on my phone;

4. 45pm: Lots of information about my loft insulation and why it could be causing damp and mould! When asked he said his company was the Insulation Advisory Authority. He chatted on for ages then asked my age which I said was irrelevant. Polite chap actually, thought I would waste some of his time playing along up to the point where he wanted to arrange a home visit- on ya bike mate... Don't you just love them!! And blocked!

Offered will writing,, care avoidance planning etc. Didn't offer any further details, just his colleague Amanda will call me back.

Cold caller, rings and hangs up

XXXX from a legacy planning start up, offering wills, pre paid funerals, trusts etc

Doesn't list to anything I asked when receiving the call e. G where did you get my number? They just carry on with there scripted speech. Don't give them the time of day.

Apparently he's my local energy advisor. Even though he's 250 miles away and couldn't time me where I lived!!!! XXXXX heads!

Automated voice asking if speaking to the home owner

Called several times today, recording stated it wasthe home owner and wanted to help with insulation...

Said they were from Reading and were my Energy Advice Company. Told me I was the homeowner. They seemed vague about my name and hung up when I said I rented the property.

Claimed to be my local energy advisor and asked how I was doing today. I asked what they wanted and they hung up.

Suspect the previous 'pinging' of my phone by a computer 1 day before receiving the calls from this number, gives me reason to believe they both connected actions.

Received call from this number. Long period of silence before they spoke. Seemed to be a recording since did not react to my comments. Claimed to be my local energy advisor.

Something to do with promotional driveways??! Hung up as soon as I said our driveway is fine!

Called a dozen times in 24 hours despite being told not to. Fobbed off when asked for who the company was with vague official sounding names. Wont take no for an answer, really irritating.

Selling loft insulation, after telling me I'm the home owner but couldn't tell me my name

This no. Has called 3to 4 times each day this last week. If I answer the phone there is no one there. Let it ring out last time and briefly heard a female voice say sorry Also had calls from0120281XXXX

"Loft checks" salesman pushing for an "in" to your property where they will no doubt try to sell something.

Rang off when answered
