British Gas robot just called a second time this morning to ask me to assess the job their engineer had just done -------------- I am STILL WAITING FOR THE ENGINEER TO GET HERE< never mind whether I am pleased with the job or not! Aaaaaaagh. British Gas!
British Gas.
One of their engineers came to do a repair this morning.
He was hardly out of the door when the BG robot phoned me, asking to rate the job.
That's pretty dumb, I won't know within 10 minutes if the repair will work or not.
A British Gas Robot asking on a scale of 1 to 10 how I judged their worker who I called. I give everyone 10 out of 10. Life's tough enough for people in thankless jobs and i'm not here to assist British Gas with data upon which they wont or don't act. They can pay me to improve their service if they like. Anyway - this number is safe. Mundane, time consuming, thankless and to no avail but safe.
It was a feedback call apparently from BGas and a robot asking about 5 questions as to how satisfied I was with the BGas engineer who had serviced my boiler today. Usual tap my replies from 1 to 10 etc. I would say it is safe but boring.
Just received a call from 01183150367 which I did not recognise so I did not answer. I immediately rang this number back and a recorded message said they weren't answering this number at the moment. I Googled the number since I felt it was suspicious and it clearly is a scam of some sort. I have blocked it.
This number phoned me twice this afternoon on my landline. The first time I didn't answer. The second time when I picked up the phone nobody spoke and I said that I wanted them to stop cold calling me.
Received a call from this number after a conversation with British Gas. Rang off before I answered the phone. No message left.
Expect it was a 'survey' call
Automated call inviting feedback following a recent phone call to BG customer service. "On a scale of 1 to 10 etc etc etc..." Lost the will to live before I'd finished answering the first question. Harmless but annoying.
Called 8am on a Sunday so didn't answer. Searching through comments seems likely it was British Gas. As I had a call-out last night it might genuinely have been for feedback, But not leaving a message and ringing at that time with an unknown number will make anyone suspect it's yet another nuisance call.
Very annoying. British gas left an answerphone message saying it was 'imperative' I called them, When I did it was a sales call and not 'imperative' then someone call me using this number and I have read below that it is to do with british gas feedback... So not an imperative call at all and then they have the cheek to ask how well they did - i think i will swap energy suppliers after this
Its feedback for an engineer visit / customer service contact.
They do sometimes han up beofre speaking or only let it ring twice.
Very annoying though
