Scam! Knew my full name. Claiming to be from the credit investigations scheme. Reading from a script. Told me my file had been passed to them and he had seen it. Utter scumbags!!!

Called today saying he was from tax office, Knew my first name scam

A company claiming to be HMRC After googling And looking at this I called them back. I said to the guy you are not HMRC directly as they will never contact you via phone all they will ever do is tell you to email them via an email. He then admits they are not HMRC and a company working on their behalf. Told him he was a total scam and hang up

Purported to be acting on behalf of HMRC. Obvious scam.

Call all broken up so could not hear. I shut down and blocked number. 02-06-2020 17. 01

Stated was Hmic - total Lies fraud alert

Hmrc scam by a man called adam. I hung up

Said he was from UK tax office I don’t live in the UK Hung up

He knew my wife’s surname and claimed he was from HMRC. He wanted us to push 1 on our key pad to listen to a recorded message from the government. Sounded like a scam and we ended the call following a quick google search whilst we waited on the phone.. Be careful and alway check the numbers calling you with a quick google search to be safe.
