Rang to check if my boiler was over 7 years old. Said they'd got the details from the Energy Performance Certificate Register. As we haven't an Energy Performance Certificate a blatant lie. Scammers. Reported to TPS

She said they were The energy savings team saying that their records show that my gas boiler is over 7 years ago. When I informed her it was not, She thanked me, Said goodbye and ended the call.

The caller lied when he said "according to our records my boiler is more than 7 years old" as this is not the case how can this company have records as to the age of my or anyone else's boiler. This is simply a sly way of overcoming the cold calling rules.
