Initial reaction to seeing a call coming from Hyderabad was to ignore it but actually genuine MS support to an azure incident ticket I had raise. I do think MS maybe could have chosen a better location given the reputation of callers from the area.
It is a microsoft support center in india, however i am unsure why they are still calling me - the ticket was already closed days ago. If you still need something, contact me via mail address that was provided in the ticket.
This is a legitimate Microsoft call center. I was called from this number and interacted with a Microsoft engineer regarding a support case opened through the Microsoft official website.
Surprisingly a real Microsoft call center in India. I was surprised when I got the call as Microsoft use to have their call centers call using domestic numbers. Though I am 100% sure that it was not a scam. Unfortunately, The person I dealt with from this call center was not very knowledgeable. I escalated the ticket to a higher level tech.
It's a legit call from the Microsoft Support Team Engineer. They will respond to your problem as per the support ticket submitted. In my experience, I reach out to them regarding Microsoft Power BI. Hence, The call. It's not a scam, People. Reach out to Microsoft if you aren't sure instead of accusing the caller. *face palm*
