This number is used as “spoof” number for an Uber driver to contact you to protect their (and your) phone number and is done through the app. My guess is that scammers are aware that this number is used like this, so they take advantage and also use the number. If you forgot something in an Uber (or perhaps Uber Eats as per other comments) and you get calls from this number it is legit, but otherwise proceed with caution

This number called me 8 times in 3 minutes. I'd hang up, they'd call right back. When I finally answered out of frustration it said it was a 3rd party caller from someone with a male voice and indistinguishable name. Then it was as if it went to a voicemail. I said "Hello? Who is this? Why do you keep calling me?" And then hung up. I'm scared it's the start of an AI scam.

I ordered Uber Eats, my order arrived & was missing my ceaser salad in thr main bag, I noticed on the outside of that bag it said 1/2 bags, so i should've received 2 bags. I went to my Uber Eats app and clicked on my order to "contact the delivery driver" it said to answer when my phone rings and then this # called me right away. It was the Uber Eats delivery driver because I wanted to contact him about bag #2."

Robot women voice claiming this is Uber and to press 1 to connect with Uber Customer Service. It happened right after I ordered food and I also took Uber trips earlier and was missing an item but this is a scam number. Either this call was a coincidence on a day I actually used Uber or a hacker knew that I used Uber making this scam much more believable but I still did not press 1.
