Keep on asking if I am (insert name). I always say no. The lady says, when should I call back? I say no. They keep calling. Just block this number they’re scammers.
Says they’re calling on behalf of TD, I called to check with TD and they have advised that this is a scam. Do NOT confirm your name, or say anything to them. I asked five times why TD wouldn’t just call me if it was indeed something to do with them and the woman got progressively more rude with each time I requested the answer. “I can’t answer your questions until you tell me your name and verify your identity”. Do not even give them your name, hang up, block the number and report this to TD. Ad
Tried to call to get my authentication of me saying “yes.” If you ever come across this and have the unfortunate situation of giving them ur personal information, call your credit card company right away to make a note incase anything happens in the future.
Now is a man, with very good English but very short temper, he got angry and hang up when I told him the method is very childish. It is scam 100%. TD has all of your information about credit card and credit card history. Plus TD check your identity asking several questions, this guy didn't. Block the number!
It's a company working for TD for security checks on identity theft and credit score checks. These people are persistent and will never stop calling. It's a legitimate service but not worth dealing with them.
The lady at the other end kept saying she's from a company called TD credit cards, but I've know for a while all credit cards from TD are issued under TD canada trust
Credit check report offer by td Canada trust credit card. I don't trust unknown 587 numbers.. Plus they asked me for my first and last name to verify if it was me after asking for me at the start of the call. Either way not trusting it.
Keep calling and saying she's with "santel" credit cards or something. Can't tell if it's a real person or robot but the 2 calls the voice, tone, what they said were all EXACT... Creepy. Don't pick up lol
Sounded like a human voice but it was a computer (if you listen carefully you can hear the odd delay). After a few questions and them not answering mine, I just hung up and blocked. No bank is going to call me or offer anything unless I walk into the bank myself. Anything as important sounding as this, the bank will invite you to come into the bank. I’m 52 years old and no bank has ever offered anything by phone
Called them back because I thought they were a client of mine but they immediately asked for the confirmation of my name saying they work for TD and were trying to sign me up for some credit card thing that I've never talked to any bank about. Definitely a scam. Blocked immediately after politely declining.
When I call back this number, it says from td bank credit card, but I will hang up, coz nowadays so may scam phone call, I wondering why they don't do email instead of phone call, coz I sometimes barely understand their English, I feel more safe communicate with email
