This is a legit CIBC Call. They have access to your CIBC VISA card info. Only need to confirm Name and DOB. I was reluctant at first and gave the wrong DOB to see the response and then gave the correct one. They were able to confirm my VISA account balances
Scam. The caller use Telus phone Number calling. I answered but no response. He left a message that he was calling from some sort of bank (Couldn't identify because of blurry dialogue) and asked to call back for a banking inquiry.
Legitimate phone number. Representative from CIBC Client Account Management. Offering loan to consolidate debt. Representative very pleasant to speak with.
Claims to be CIBC, Left numerous messages wanting to discuss “an urgent banking matter”. Also texted with the same message and a link to phone them. Called the number on the back of my card and verified that there is nothing wrong with my accounts and no reason for the the call. I suspect some kind of scam.
They want to offer you a loan to pay off the balance of your credit card with. There play is that they know how challenging Covid can be for everyone. The loan is at a higher interest, Over 10 % than what you could negotiate at your own bank.

Three different callers left messages July 9, 10 & 11, 2020 on my primary phone number indicating they represented CIBC Client Account Management. On July 13, 20 when I called their number I was asked to enter my primary phone number, It was not recognized by their service.
