I bought a camera apparently - but may need to dispute this

I received the same message today.

This number is linked to an Amazon scam where I was told I had bought an expensive camera from Amazon!

Received similar message for Camera I did not order, so definitely looks like a scam asking if I wanted to dispute the purchase.

This number sent me text : Your order #10613710QC Amt. $3969. 00 for Canon E0S R6 Camera at AMAZ0N successful on 2O21-O5-O8. Contact Us on 08 7200 0751, For Dispute. And it is scam

Got this SMS on my phone: "Your order #20613710JT Amt. $3969. 00 for Canon E0S R6 Camera at AMAZ0N successful on 2O21-O5-O8. Contact Us on 08 7200 0751, For Dispute." Very suspicious, did not call above number.

Was told it was connected to Amazon and to do with a video camera, and to contact that no. With any queries.

A Scam - Received SMS to say Canon Camera had been purchased via Amazon for $3k and to call number for “dispute” - called the number which had lots of static and crackling someone said hello and then silence when I asked them to ID themselves. Hung up and blocked the number.

Sent text message saying camera purchased on Amazon.

Mobile numbe 042258XXXX sent me a text saying says my order for a camera from Amazon for $3969 was successful and to contact this number for dispute.. It felt like a scam but it got my attention. Clever. Checked my bank accounts and no transaction was there. Dumb. Called the mobile number - hung up on me.

Scam. Said i'd paid for an expensive camera and to call re a dispute. Message came from mobile 0402 659 471

Got an text msg from 0431131807 telling me of an successful order for a Canon EOS $3969 at Amazon and I should call 08 72000751 for dispute!!!

Looks like everyone is getting a Canon camera. Same text message to everyone. Scammer.

Received a text from 0412 975384 that I had purchased a Canon E0S R6 Camera at Amazon for $3969. 00. Said to call this number (08 7200 0751) to dispute. Obviously a scam to refund me and try and take my money! Idiots, I wasn't born yesterday ;-)

He was a genuine bloke who made an honest mistake in sending this message to the wrong number. I do not comprehend why he is getting this level hate. I give this number a solid 9/10

I called this number after being told I owe $2199. 99 for a camera. Was hung up on several times after I called them out for being scammers. Got called an Australian deviate!! I rang back the last time and said the police are now involved in their scam. He pleaded with me that this was not the case and his father was a police officer. I said of course he is hahah. I then said be very very careful with your next move as the police are aware and then I had the pleasure of hanging up on them 😊😊

Got a text message from this numbering claiming I had paid for an expensive camera on Amazon

Got the camera purchase text and knowing it was a scam called back. Sophisticated set up that knows you phone number and email address and makes out they are Amazon. Having strung the flog on the phone along for 10 minutes he eventually surrendered and hand up. Interesting having rung back 33 times to annoy them with my caller id withheld they only picked up again when i took the block off my caller id. I enjoyed calling the guy picking up the phone a scamming flog and hang up.

Rang back on the number that sent the message: +6143168XXXX, was not specific as to why i was ringing, and male with usual accent became rude as i think he may have several scams running and was not sure which one he had tried on me.

Received an SMS re a Canon camera. I rang the number and discussed the persons colour, ethnicity and ethics... And they hung up on me... How rude...

SCAM AND FRAUD. Sent me a text stating am Amazon payment for a camera was successful and to call this number to dispute. Report it and Block it.

Scam - Received a text from 041189XXXX I called knowing it was a scam but interested to see what they would say! - They were trying to send me amazon verification codes which didn't come through then told me my account had been hacked and my details taken when I'd been on public WIFI. At which point I hung up.

Given it also says that I can call to dispute (Why would you dispute it if you bought it) I suspected it was a scam.

Looks like a scam recieved a similar text today, from a mobile number +61411945XXX Saying: Payment A$1989. 99 for "Lenovo Intel core i9 Touch Laptop" sucessful. AMAZ0N#21710521055 if N0T you, Please call +61-872 000 751 Is there somewhere we should be sending screen shots to report the issue rather than just blocking the nubmer.

Scam text saying I purchased a laptop. Deleted the text. So annoying and no doubt alarming for people not familiar with these types of messages... Particularly many senior citizens who use mobile phones for safety and to stay in touch with their family. I’ve blocked the number also - but know the scammers have many other numbers!

Avoid this number. I called them back over 100+ times just for sport because as a South Australian citizen I am tired of these Indian call centres. I asked to speak with XXXX XXXX and they responded with profanity. I asked them where was my cat - stuck in a box but if I opened the box I wouldn't know where my cat was. Then I called with Hindi profanity and eventually they do not receive my calls. Australia - we need legislation to stop these scammers from having local dial outs.
