At first i thought this was company doing market research (wasn't 100% sure but they never asked for any personal details on the first call etc) they asked me who I was with for my gas company, What current discount I was getting on my bill and how much my last bill was. I did not give him any real data from the bill - I just threw some random numbers at him and he told me he 'didn't work the big 5 gas companies & did not want to sell me anything just wanted to get me the best discount' then he

Hung up when I answered and put my phone on mute, They call to try and get your name and details from your voicemail message, I always answer and mute and they hang up everytime! If it was a legitimate call they would call back and leave a message etc.

Received a call from a woman asking my name and I replied ‘who it this’ and she ignored my question and continued by telling me they sent and energy bill and they wanted to settle the rate, Lol, I told her I am an energy broker. Which is true. Then she said Oh a broker... Then hung up... Blocked!!
