They said they called from special investigator Australia named Travis John. They called me regarding money laundry and ask me nearest police station number. Someone called me from that number as well and told me to have option to send all my money to “goverment safe account”. And when I want to go to police station, They said the police will arrest me straight away. That’s when I think it is a scam. Just be careful of this number

This is a scam. Hang up and call Services Australia or the Police Department yourself, Do not trust their calls even from the listed police department numbers. They used real police department numbers to call me and tell me I had criminal charger attached to my TFN and that I need to comply to remove myself from the investigation otherwise I would be arrested. Claimed there was an arrest warrant out for me. Asked for my address to confirm my identity was correct before giving legal information - when asking he was writing it down and didn’t have the right postcode, I had to correct him on it. Thought it was suspicious and called the ATO and googled the number. Said his name was Officer Michael Roy and his badge ID was 417M2112.

Tried to get my TFN number + Bank accounts and alleged there was an arrest warrant out for me. I called police who said there was no such warrant out for me.
